Data collected

• Email address: so you can claim your Reign and be notified of a coronation or a dethronement.
• Display name and message: displayed publicly on the Site, at your own initiative.
• Payment data: processed directly by Stripe; we store no card data.
• Reign data: amount, dates, status, interface language.
• Proof of consent: time stamp of the acceptance of the Terms and the version accepted, retained with the transaction.
• Audience measurement: traffic statistics collected without cookies via Vercel Analytics.

Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service, managing Reigns and notifications: performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Proof of consent and fraud prevention: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.c and 6.1.f).
• Audience measurement: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).

Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by our providers: Stripe (payment), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (hosting and audience measurement), each under compliance commitments.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

Retention periods

Data relating to transactions (Reigns, payments, proof of consent) is retained for the duration of applicable legal obligations, in particular accounting ones (up to 10 years). The notification email address is retained for as long as necessary for the service. Cercle waiting-list data is retained until the service opens or until a deletion request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Exercise them at hello@holdthethrone.gold. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

Please note: as Reigns are public, historical records of the service, erasure covers the associated personal data (email, etc.); the Publisher may anonymise a Reign (removal of the displayed name) upon a legitimate request.

Cookies

The Site keeps cookie use to a minimum:

• a language preference cookie (FR/EN choice, retained for 12 months) — strictly functional;
• cookies strictly necessary for payment and fraud prevention set by Stripe during payment;
• no advertising or tracking cookies; audience measurement is performed without cookies.
